Urea formaldehyde resin is a very important product nowadays in the field of plastics, coatings and adhesives. The result of the reaction of urea and formaldehyde is a resin that is included in the thermosetting group, which means that it is resistant to acids, bases, cannot dissolve and cannot melt.
Specification:
– The urea formaldehyde batch reactor is designed to study reactions between urea and formaldehyde which produce ureaformaldehyde resin which is an example of a reaction polymerization.
– The reactor is designed using a transparent glass material equipped with a stirrer and an easy sampling system
– The reactor is also equipped with a heating mantle and a condenser
– The reactor is placed in a cabinet made of stainless steel equipped with an exhaust fan with the aim of reducing odor pollution during the process
– Cooling water from the bottom of the cabinet is pumped to the condenser in the reactor
